MRI Software and EDW Technology announce strategic partnership that offers end-to-end energy management for UK businesses
Deal brings together MRI Energy Invoice Validation and EDW’s TEAM Energy division to better serve the commercial sector
London – 10 March 2024 – MRI Software, a global leader in real estate software solutions, announces today a strategic partnership with EDW Technology’s TEAM Energy, a leading multidisciplinary energy and sustainability consultancy. The partnership will offer end-to-end energy management for UK businesses, institutions and government organisations to boost savings and support zero carbon initiatives. The agreement sees TEAM Energy replacing its existing solution with MRI Energy invoice validation. The offering, which ensures accurate and error-free billing and advanced web-enabled energy monitoring and targeting, will be available from TEAM Energy as Sigma 24.
Graham Paul, Service Delivery Director at TEAM Energy, says: “As a pioneer in its field with a comprehensive partnership programme, MRI Software was a natural option for TEAM to work with. This collaboration enables us to enhance the range of products and services we provide, helping our customers lower their carbon emissions, reduce energy consumption, and save money.”
“This strategic partnership brings together two industry experts to deliver a solution that will streamline efforts to improve energy efficiency and boost green initiatives across the UK commercial sector,” says James Massey, Managing Director of Facilities Management, Energy, and Retail Intelligence at MRI Software. “These paired and integrated solutions will ensure clients’ energy management processes are precise and reliable, while giving them the information they need to make better business decisions.”
The new collaboration will also leverage MRI Forms Intelligence, the AI-aided data extraction tool that will enable commercial users to quickly and accurately pull information from the roughly 25% of invoices that are not electronic – eliminating time and error-prone manual processes required by many organisations to capture data from invoices that are in PDF form or even on paper.
Paul notes: “A recognised leader in the real estate software industry, MRI allows TEAM Energy to tap into a number of technologies that extend our capabilities into new areas. This affiliation enables TEAM Energy to leverage MRI’s platform to provide enhanced energy management and sustainability solutions to our customers.”
Adds Massey: “EDW’s TEAM Energy brings substantial domain knowledge to the table and will work closely with the MRI team to develop further market-leading innovations. We consider the strategic element of this partnership as important as the product pairing.”
