Shoreham Port Streamlines Property Management with MRI Software Solutions
Shoreham Port, the Trust Port on the south coast of England, has invested in MRI Software property management solutions to streamline their operations, commercial tenant engagement and accounting processes. The move means the organisation has taken on both MRI Qube Property Management and MRI Engage, which together present their team with the ability to easily digitally interact with a growing community of commercial tenants.
Shoreham Port is a busy commercial shipping hub, with around 2 million tonnes of commercial cargo and 14,000 leisure boat movements welcomed through their lock gates annually. A significant industrial cluster, the Port covers 110 acres and comprises 175 businesses, offering facilities from studios and workshops to operational sites with cargo handling terminals, as well as fully serviced office spaces with bookable meeting rooms. Its prime location in the Brighton and Hove area attracts a diverse mix of organisations, from SMEs to multinational industries.
The Commercial Property team, headed up by the Commercial & Property Director Beth Evans-Gay, let and manage these spaces with a lean team who take great pride in cultivating strong support relationships with tenants.
The organisation went to market in search of a solution that can cater to their unique licensed spaces and commercial tenants, whilst streamlining property management, leasing, property accounting, and maintenance operations all through one integrated system.
After an intricate market review, the team chose to implement MRI Qube Property Management, based off its comprehensive functionality to cater to the Port’s requirements. The tenant portal MRI Engage will not only automate manual communications, increasing efficiency, but also allows a self-serve approach to tenants who will be able to log into a portal to make maintenance inquiries, pay invoices, and easily reserve the bookable areas within the Port estate.
MRI Qube PM has become a much-trusted name within the property management software industry, with over 550 clients using the solution to manage more than 1 million units, and as trends have emerged and developed, MRI Qube PM continues to scale and adapt to support a wide range of property management requirements.
