MRI Ascend Day 2: Parties, Partners, and PropTech utopia

The first day of MRI Ascend ended with a bang on the USS Midway for a sunset soiree and as we began the second Keynote full of product innovation, we all enjoyed a cup of coffee as we prepared for more education, more networking, and more excitement. Read on to learn more!

 

Back at work and in community at Sunshine Falls

The second Keynote may have started off at the local coffee shop in Sunshine Falls, Sips at Sunrise, but we quickly passed it off to our Senior Vice President of Product Innovation, Marc Dicapua, to hold court on all the latest and greatest updates in Property Management X and all the next generation tech the real estate industry can leverage. 

As part of MRI Software’s mission to help transform the way communities live, work, and play, we were honored to support a non-profit local to the San Diego area called the Lucky Duck Foundation. Clients, partners, and staff were given the opportunity to support this important cause, and before the Keynote closed out, we were honored to hear from Drew Moser of the Lucky Duck Foundation and present him with a check for $10,000. As Drew mentioned, “When you have good luck, pass it on to others.” 

 

Learning and growing brighter together

Common sights on the second day of MRI Ascend included visionaries gathered around to test out new innovations, educational sessions centered around AI and accounting, and conference rooms filled with people eagerly listening to MRI’s MVPs (most valuable partners). Lunch was served on the second floor Seaport Ballroom where attendees could enjoy the Marina Courtyard verandah and soak up the San Diego sun in between sessions. 

A special new addition to the conference was the Lumens Lab, where users got together in a setting reminiscent of a school science lab to test out the latest solutions. A returning staple, however, was the 1:30 hour of Partner sessions, where all of MRI’s closest friends in the PropTech industry were able to speak directly to their clients and potential clients.  

 

Partying with Partners

Make no mistake – everything we do at MRI Ascend ends up turning into something exciting. Monday closed out with an epic extension of the Building Brighter Festival with a party on the historic USS Midway and Tuesday closed out with an evening of drinks and dancing with MRI’s Partners.  

In addition, everyone who came through the doors at MRI Ascend is walking away with something! Throughout the conference, attendees have had the opportunity to collect fun stickers by attending different events in the space. After filling out their “passport” with stickers, they showed their flair to win some exclusive MRI swag.   

To top it all off, we’re excited to share some news revealed first to our attendees. MRI Ascend North America 2025 will officially be held in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee! Preparation is already underway, and we can’t wait to see everyone there.
