Awards were presented at the MRI Ascend users conference in Sydney
Sydney – August 19, 2024 – MRI Software, a global leader in real estate software and services, announced the recipients of the RE:Visionary Awards at its MRI Ascend 2024 APAC users conference, held in Sydney on August 7-8. The global awards program was featured at MRI’s previous user conferences in North America and EMEA. This year’s inaugural APAC awards addressed four categories: Transformation Trailblazer, Innovation, Ambassador of the Year, and Partner of the Year. The RE:Visionary Awards honour MRI clients and partners who have used MRI’s open and connected software and extensive partner network to elevate their business and move the industry forward.
“We are proud to celebrate and recognise a number of our clients and partners who are doing pretty amazing things,” said David Bowie, Executive Managing Director at MRI Software in Asia Pacific. “The award winners are leading the way in bringing technology and people closer together to accelerate their businesses and transform the communities they serve.”
2024 APAC RE:Visionary Awards recipients
Transformation Trailblazer – MRI LivingTM: Realmark
The Transformation Trailblazer awards recognise clients who partner with MRI to gain a competitive edge for their business through digital optimisation.
Realmark, one of Western Australia’s most successful real estate networks, is committed to its vision of delivering outstanding customer experiences. As a Property Tree client for many years, Realmark saw value in bringing its solutions and property teams closer together to create their own information superhighway. In the past two years, Realmark has expanded its use of MRI solutions to include Vault, Strata Master, and Property Management X. The company also recently commissioned a new corporate website, which is currently being developed by MRI’s Agency Studio team.
Transformation Trailblazer – MRI @WorkTM: Arkadia
Arkadia is a privately owned diversified investment group with extensive in-house management capabilities in commercial property, hotels, hospitality, and investment management. Over the past 12 months, Arkadia has conducted a significant review of their technology focussed on streamlining its business and see MRI solutions Engage, Evolution and myBuildings as key to their ongoing future growth.
Innovation – MRI LivingTM: Raine & Horne
The Innovation awards recognise organisations that demonstrate what it truly means to be open and connected — leveraging MRI technology alongside partner solutions to drive innovation in their business and address key challenges.
Raine & Horne opened its doors in 1883, and four generations later, it continues to grow with a dynamic and diverse approach to business. Their commitment to staying ahead of the curve includes exploring how technology can help realise their clients’ vision of having “one agency for life”. Raine & Horne utilises nearly all of the MRI Residential ecosystem across ANZ, including Vault CRM, Vault franchise management system, MRI Agora Insights, Property Tree and Palace.
Innovation – MRI @WorkTM: Stanton Hillier Parker
Stanton Hillier Parker sells, leases and manages commercial real estate assets for a variety of clients. Their commitment to growth and diversification is driven by a mission to deliver client-focussed real estate solutions, and they view MRI as a key partner in meeting that mission.
As the business has grown, so has their footprint with MRI Property Management X and, more recently, with Mybuildings, an MRI partner and their chosen ERP. They see MRI Agora Insights as a critical tool to help centralise data from MRI and partner products, facilitating better visibility and insights that deliver a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Ambassador of the Year: Lindsey Burne, Director, LJ Hooker ACT Group
This award honours an individual who is instrumental in driving digital transformation with MRI and is regarded as a leader in the PropTech space.
Lindsey Burne has been a long-standing advocate of Property Tree, a member of the MRI Client Advisory Board, readily represents the voice of the customer in product development and acts as a referee for MRI .
Recently when the LJ Hooker ACT group reassessed the sales side of their business, Lindsey felt the only way to gain an accurate 360-degree view of the client was to invest in solutions that “talk” to each other, resulting in the addition of MRI Vault to their suite of solutions.
“From my perspective there is no other real estate software provider keeping up with the innovation demands of the industry the way MRI is,” stated Lindsey Burne
Partner of the Year: Proptech Labs
This award goes to the MRI partner that exemplifies a commitment to our shared clients through innovation and best practices.
Proptech Labs (PTL) set out on a mission to ease property managers’ mental and physical load by applying the latest technology. As a certified MRI Software Solutions Partner, they continually pioneer cutting-edge technology by working in sync with MRI clients to address challenges that come with repetitive and manual tasks like invoicing, maintenance and inspections. Over 2500 clients are using Maintenance Plus, Invoice Automate and Inspection Manager to complement their property management solution such as Property Tree and Palace.
The RE:Visionary Awards and MRI Ascend took place in Sydney. The event brought together more than 700 executives, users, staff, and representatives from 28 technology partners for two days of keynotes, insights and solution presentations, product training, networking events, and exhibits on MRI and its real estate technology ecosystem.
The MRI Ascend global event series is an important industry forum where the real estate community gathers to enhance their skills, share insights, and drive business growth within a supportive and collaborative ecosystem.
